Wedding Boards - Sarah & Josh, June 2010

Sarah & Josh are having a backyard reception next year in Acushnet, MA. Sarah loves bold colors and for her, Red was a MUST. She chose the first board below so we will incorporate the Red with Yellow & Orange. Because those are typically fall colors, we've added a pink accent to lighten things up! The end result = Festive, Summer, Fun!

Chic of the Week Pick: VINTAGE SCRAPS JOURNALS

Vintage Scraps creates these retro journals that are so classic, it hurts to even think of writing in them! Each one is hand made and collaged with a vintage touch. Your journal might include original ledger paper from the 19th century or handwritten class notes from the same era. Vintage sheet music and antique adornments may also be thoughtfully included.

If you're a bride, use this as your wedding planning notebook and it will quickly become the topic of conversation! Or you can use it at your wedding shower to properly record gifts.

This can also be a lovely gift for the bride to be!

Get Inspired by... the soon to be Larsens!

If your family is anything like mine and they LOVE weddings, you might want to consider straying from the norm when it comes to your wedding announcements. When you have so many people excited about your special day, make it extra special for them by sending them a newsletter. My clients, Mary & Blake, created the one below and it's a fantastic way to keep your guests in the loop! Great job M&B and thanks for sharing!
