TRUE STORY: A bride found a great price on Craigslist for a wedding cake and couldn't pass it up. She told the baker her wedding theme was "the outdoors" and THIS is what the woman came up with! Upon delivering the cake, the baker was rear-ended and the cake smashed into the dashboard of her car. In my opinion, it was the best thing that could have happened! This saved the bride the embarrassment from having to display this neon colored wedding cake to her guests. Instead, it was cut-up in the kitchen and served buffet style. My advice: if you're using any vendor found on Craigslist, request three references and examples of their work!
