Real Wedding: Jean & Bill at Squantum Association

For our last wedding of 2013, we had the pleasure of working with Jean and Bill Dolan on their amazing ceremony and reception at Squantum Association on November 30th. Upon meeting the couple, it was clear to everyone around them how in love they were! Their love radiates and can light up any room; we knew it was going to be a beautiful union.

It was a gorgeous, crisp, fall day outside and the ceremony was held facing the water during the sunset.

Jean is a musician, so it was essential that their music played an important role throughout the day. The ceremony processional was timed perfectly to a song played by the New England String Quartet; it was a great personal touch.

The ceremony had many other personal touches such as a Musical Mediation and a unity candle ceremony. Jean and Bill also brought tears to the eyes of their guests when they said a Reflection towards one another, that were so beautifully written and very well said.

As the evening progressed, guests walked over to the Bakehouse; an incredible room on its own but with the help of the gorgeous flowers provided by Stoneblossom, the amazing cake by Confectionary Designs, and decor that they chose, it was a truly elegant event.

During the reception, music was provided by the band Total Groove, which was a total hit. Guests danced all night and had a wonderful time.

The evening was a beautiful reflection of their love for each other and we are so glad we could be apart of it!

The Bombshell Bride

Looking for a glamorous and trendy style for your special day? Look no further than the ‘Bombshell Bride’. Inspired by the beauty icon of the 1950s, Marilyn Monroe, the bombshell look is pure glamour and seduction, though it is never sleazy. It is all about accentuating your best assets, be sexy and love it. As Marilyn Monroe said herself, “I’m very definitely a woman and I enjoy it.”

Here’s some inspiration for pulling off the bombshell look...

Kristin & Thomas, Roger Williams Casino

Kristin & Thomas were married in September at Santo Christo Church in Fall River, MA. Their beautiful, classic reception followed at Roger Williams Casino in Providence, RI. The rich color palette featured gold and burgundy with hints of pink and ivory. Stoneblossoms created the breathtaking candelabra centerpieces and floral while Accentuations Floral Design provided the large crystal tree to 'wow' her guests during cocktail hour. The stationary and seating chart was designed created by yours truly while Bob Carpenter from Main Event Weddings created an impressive gobo to display during the reception. Thanks to all the amazing vendors who helped make Kristin & Tom's day such a success, especially Russ Morins & Main Event Weddings who were exceptional to work with. Enjoy and be inspired!

This custom linen for the sweetheart table was created by The Perfect Setting at Felicia's. We added crystals and burgundy ribbon to make it even more dramatic.

Katie & Steve - Roger Williams Casino

Katie & Steve were married back in March at Roger Williams Casino. They had a romantic, simple ceremony on the first floor of the casino followed by a fun-filled reception. Each guest was served their very own lobster thanks to B&M Clambakes and George from CE DJ's entertained the crowd. We were happy to help coordinate their special day and hope you enjoy some of their pictures taken by Jen Ing Photography.
